Errico ZUPI
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Siena and has served as an Associate Professor at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and the University of Siena.
His academic journey began with his Medical School in Rome, “La Sapienza” University, in 1982, followed by residencies in Ob/Gyn in 1986 and in Oncology in 1991. He has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” from 1988 to 2005, and a Research Fellow at the University of Connecticut in 1992. He has also been a Visiting Professor at the University of Strasbourg (France) from 2006 to 2011.
Prof. Zupi has been involved in surgical activities, being the first surgeon in 5270 surgical procedures, with 65% of major surgery performed through laparoscopy and 25% by laparotomy or vaginal route. He has also been actively involved in the delivery room for 17 years, with regular activity as the first or second operator in IIIrd level university hospitals.
Prof. Zupi has held leadership roles such as Chief of the Department of Gynaecology & Obstetrics at the University of Siena and Director of multiple specialized units and programs in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. Her focus is performing minimally invasive surgeries for large uterus, fibroids and endometriosis.
Dr. Seifi has been integral to the Yale/Bridgeport Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery (MIGS) fellowship program. She is a surgical consultant for complex benign gynecology surgeries and has been pivotal in training medical students, OBGYN residents, and MIGS fellows.
Dr. Seifi was awarded the best surgical teaching award by Yale OBGYN residents, Certificate of Excellence in Laparoscopic Surgeries, AAGL. She was part of the MIGS fellowship faculty and trained many fellows over the past few years.

Horace Roman is surgeon of endometriosis at the Franco-European Multidisciplinary Institute of Endometriosis at Tivoli-Ducos Clinic in Bordeaux (France), Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Medicover Hospital in Cluj Napoca (Romania). He is Honorary Professor of Endometriosis Surgery at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. His practice and clinical research focus on the surgical management of patients with deep endometriosis. He has managed more than 2,000 patients with deep endometriosis infiltrating the digestive tract, 350 with endometriosis of urinary tract, 100 with diaphragmatic endometriosis and 200 with endometriosis of sacral roots and sciatic nerves. He privileges conservative procedures and has performed more than 500 rectal disc excisions. He performed the ENDORE randomized trial comparing radical and conservative surgery for colorectal endometriosis, MESURE randomized trial comparing medical and surgical management of rectal endometriosis. He has published more than 250 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals in endometriosis field during 20 years of career dedicated to this disease.
